Couldn’t justify paying top dollar for a humminbird network switch. So I built my own using a good quality 1 gigabit Ethernet switch I branded it The Bird). It worked so well I built a few of them to sell. So far all sold birds are working flawlessly. The box is modular plug and play design. If it fails it’s just a matter of unplugging the switch board and plugging in a new one.
